Profile
What inspired you to get into this work?
My father, mother, and grandmother earned their living as weavers.
My mother taught me that a woman should have a job that would enable her to earn a living for the rest of her life.
Since I grew up with a lot of looms in the house, I naturally became interested in weaving and aspired to become a weaver.
What do you keep in mind when creating your work?
In today's world of mechanization and uniform standards, handmade work that expresses one's own thoughts and feelings can be felt with the warmth of the weaver's hands, making the user feel happy. Nail-weaving, which requires delicacy, expresses the three-dimensionality and movement of a painting in a textile.
It also requires constant concentration, and one must eliminate everything else before beginning production.
What do you want to achieve from now on? Or how do you want to live?
We will make every effort to help traditional crafts develop more and more with the understanding and love of people around the world.
