Biography
1967 Studied Western-style painting under Western-style painter Shigeru Morita at the Japan Art Institute
1976 Studied maki-e under Kosen Oshita, the third father-in-law.
1996 Exhibited netsuke at the Japanese Ivory Carving Exhibition, Shoto Museum of Art, Tokyo
1998 Certified by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry as a Japanese traditional craftsman in the decorative arts category.
1999 Exhibited 16 times in Kyoto, Tokyo, Fukuoka, etc. at the Women's Division of the Japan Traditional Art Craftsmen's Association.
2001 Exhibition of Contemporary Netsuke from the Kinsey Collection
2001 Exhibition of Netsuke from the Collection of Her Imperial Highness Prince Takamado
2006 Inauguration of "Group Takumi" by female traditional craftsmen
