Biography
Born in Ueda, a former silkworm manufacturer and now a weaver of Ueda tsumugi, which involves the entire process of dyeing, warping, and weaving.
Awards
Many of his works have been selected for the National Exhibition of Traditional Crafts, the Japan Folk Crafts Museum Exhibition, and the Silk Museum Exhibition.

What inspired you to get into this work?
While studying in Ireland, he experienced firsthand the splendor of Japanese culture during his travels in Europe.
What do you want to appeal the most in your work?
The fabric is also known as "San-ura-shimai" (three-lined stripes) because it is so durable that the lining can be replaced three times.
What do you keep in mind when creating your work?
Creating works that are "fun to look at and fun to wear.
