I went to France to study for two months in my early twenties and realized that I could freely make my own choices in life. I also realized the beauty of Japanese art, and after returning to Japan, I started taking pottery classes.

I make a lot of vessels in which familiar plants and leaves around my house are embedded or pasted into the vessels to create patterns.

I try to make vessels with a little more decoration and a little less looseness and receptiveness.

I don't have much of an idea of what I'm aiming for.
