Profile
What inspired you to get into this work?
There was a time when my mother had a shibori class at home, and when my sister-in-law started learning, I thought, 'I might as well try it too...' and I stepped into it. I had been very familiar with shibori since I was a child, but I had never touched it before, nor did I think I would ever be able to do shibori on a deer.
What do you want to appeal the most in your work?
I am challenging myself to do something that I can only do now, while taking advantage of the good qualities of Kyo shikanoko-shibori that have been available up to now!
What do you keep in mind when creating your work?
I hope to create works that I would like to use and that I think are cute.
What do you want to achieve from now on? Or how do you want to live?
I want to become a woman who can stand on her own feet and walk forward.
