Profile
What inspired you to get into this work?
When he was looking for a place to train to become a craftsman, he heard from an acquaintance that a Hakata doll maker experience course was being offered.
After attending the course, he was recommended by the doll maker who was the instructor and went to Akiko Inoue to ask for an apprenticeship.
What do you want to appeal the most in your work?
The beauty of people's lives.
I want to reflect the beauty in ordinary actions in my dolls. At the same time, I believe that it is a beautiful movement of the heart when a person who sees a doll thinks about someone else or talks with himself/herself.
What do you keep in mind when creating your work?
I hope that the viewer's heart will be comforted.
For this reason, I always pay attention to whether the shape of the doll looks right from any angle, whether the colors are well balanced, and whether the facial expressions are natural.
What do you want to achieve from now on? Or how do you want to live?
I want to be able to work regularly every day, gradually improve my skills and sensitivity, and create works that people can enjoy.
