Biography
Born in 1986 in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. Graduated from Kyoto Zokei University of Art and Design, Department of Art and Design, Dyeing and Weaving Course. While a student at Kyoto Zokei University of Art and Design, he took part in a training program for successors sponsored by the Aichi Shibori Industrial Association and mastered sewing shibori, Maki-age shibori, Hikita-Miura shibori, and Yoko-iki Kanoko shibori. Currently, he is working to improve his skills at the association while producing original products.

What inspired you to get into this work?
When I read in the newspaper that a successor training program was about to start, I was curious to know how they were making them, so I decided to start the program.
What do you want to appeal the most in your work?
Making use of traditional colors and patterns while fitting in with modern life
What do you keep in mind when creating your work?
Whether or not I would want to use it now.
What do you want to achieve from now on? Or how do you want to live?
We would like to make products that can be used today, based on traditional techniques.
