Profile
What inspired you to get into this work?
When I was looking for a job that I could continue for the rest of my life, my father recommended Ippichitobori to me.
What do you want to appeal the most in your work?
The wood used in Ichijin Itto-bori carving has a finer and more beautiful grain than other types of wood.
The design and carving is designed to bring out the beauty of this grain!
What do you keep in mind when creating your work?
I would like to create gentle and delicate carvings that give the viewer a sense of warmth from the hard wood of ichii.
What do you want to achieve from now on? Or how do you want to live?
I would like to make each piece carefully and continue to create works of art that will please you.
I would also like to make time to try new pieces and improve my skills.
