Biography
Graduated from Kyoto Xian Women's Junior College in March 1978.
Since then, I have been making tapestries, clothes, bags, and accessories by stitching on indigo-dyed cloth while helping my family's business, Kurume Kasuri.

What inspired you to get into this work?
I was told I would be the heir to the family business.
What do you want to appeal the most in your work?
To let people know the goodness of indigo dyeing.
What do you keep in mind when creating your work?
We make products that can be used on a daily basis in everyday life.
